Extended Art Versions of All 18 “Reimagined” Cards
You’ll be able to get a standard, fully playable, Ultra Rare copy of any of these 18 cards to put in your Deck. Want more? As in Rarity Collection 5 and Battles of Legend: Exalted Gallery, all 18 cards will have extended-art versions for both the Ultra Rares and Starlight Rares. What’s more, since this set is released after Chaos Origins, the Starlight Rares will be the new versions with rainbow borders instead of gray. Finally, the colors and visibility have been improved.
NEW: Numbered Grand Master Rare cards!
Grand Master Rare cards are a stunning new rarity, guaranteed to take your breath away with their hieroglyphic-decorated borders.
– ONLY the 18 “reimagined” cards mentioned above will have Grand Master Rare versions.
– Grand Master Rare cards are numbered 001 through 100.
– Each of the 18 “reimagined” cards will have 100 Grand Master Rares. In total, there are 1,800 Grand Master Rares: 100 of each of the 18 cards.
– A total of 100 cards will be available for the Americas (North, Central, and South) and another 100 for all markets distributed from Europe (Europe, Oceania, Africa, and the Middle East). These will be recognizable by an “E” at the end of the serial number.
– All Grand Master Rares will be in English, but can be found in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish booster packs (in addition, of course, to the English ones).
– Since there are so few cards in the entire print run, Grand Master Rares will be EXTREMELY rare. Be careful when opening packs!
20 new cards or additional art variants
Not all new cards have an extended art version! In addition to the 18 cards mentioned above, you’ll also find previously unreleased cards from the anime, such as Sealing Sword of Orichalcos and Rainbow Bridge Bifrost.
There are also new art variants of the popular I:P Masquerena and S:P Little Knight, as well as a new card that brings them together: W:P Elegant Ball!
As a little extra, there are 10 “chibi” art variants: from A Bao A Qu, The Lightless Shadow to Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Heaven’s Thunder, to Dark Ruler No More and Sky Striker Mobilization – Engage!
Foil Upgrades
Magnificent Monsters includes 40 cards in foil for the first time (previously only available as Commons or Rares). The list includes recent favorites like “Radiant Typhoon,” “Artmage,” “DoomZ,” and “GMX,” as well as a few old favorites (from Toon Cyber Dragon to Sixth Sense).
6 new Boss monsters, one for each Special Summon type. Each is a NEW version of a famous existing monster from that Summon type: from the Nightmare Eyes Limit Fusion Monster to the Galaxy-Eyes Antimatter Dragon Xyz Monster to the Link Monster Prism Crystron Halqifibrax.
Magnificent Monsters booster packs use a “slot” system: only a few cards are carefully inserted into each position in the pack, with a relatively small number available in each slot.
Each box of Magnificent Monsters contains 3 booster packs, each containing 5 Ultra Rare cards. Additionally, there are 3 extra Secret Rare cards (like in the Legendary Decks sets), with a chance to upgrade to Starlight.
